Editing your record
Check your details, add accounts and keep your record up to date.
Where did you get my photo and my follower number?
There is no photo before you claim. After you claim, you can use your social profile photo, change it or hide it. We show a range for your follower or subscriber count, based on public account data. We show the date too. The record labels the source of each fact so you can see where it came from.
My follower count here is wrong. Can I fix it?
Yes. When you sign in and confirm your account, we can read its numbers from the platform. That should update the count. If it still looks wrong, please report it. You need to sign in to make your own direct changes, but not just to report an error.
Can I use my page name instead of my real name?
Yes. Use the name people know you by. You do not have to add your legal name. It may already appear if it came from a public source. Check your record and choose what to show.
I have 4 accounts. Can I put them all on one record?
Yes. You can verify one account or channel per supported platform. To add a second account on the same platform, use Related Social Accounts. It is in the last part of the record editor. You can add your own other accounts or accounts you manage, such as a pet account or a YouTube channel in another language. This section also includes Substack, Medium, WhatsApp and LINE. These links are marked Stated. That means you added them and we have not checked them. Their followers do not count towards your record’s total. As of 3 October 2026, official sign-in works for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and Snapchat. Facebook and LinkedIn are added by hand and marked Stated.
What if two people have the same name as me?
Your record links to your actual social accounts, not just your name. Two people with the same name can have separate records linked to their own accounts.
Do I have to fill in everything?
No. Most fields are optional. Add what you feel comfortable sharing. You can add more later.
What if I stop posting for a few months?
Your record stays live. You do not lose it if you take a break. For accounts checked through official sign-in, figures refresh about every 30 days.
Can I change my mind later?
Yes, at any time. You can change your AI choices and what people can see. You can also remove the record. Removal cannot be undone, but you can create a fresh record later. Deleting your Sparkonomy account is a separate step in account settings.
What changes for a Creator with 2,000 followers versus two million?
Both get the same core tools: a public record and a way to state AI choices. You do not need a large audience or team to use them. OCG does not promise followers, deals or legal results.
