Getting started
What the Open Creator Graph is, and whether it's for you.
What is the Open Creator Graph, in one sentence?
OCG is a free public page about you. It links your social accounts and lets you say how AI may use your name, face, voice and other parts of your identity.
Is this part of Sparkonomy, or a separate company?
OCG is Sparkonomy’s first product. Sparkonomy is an AI company building tools to help Creators run and grow their businesses.
How do I know if I already have a record?
Search for your name or social handle on OCG. A handle is your account name, such as @yourname. You may already have a record made from public information. You can claim it even if you did not create it.
Which section of this FAQ applies to me?
Pick the topic that fits you best: - Creators: start with Getting started, then Claiming and signing in and Your AI choices. - Talent managers and agencies: For talent managers and agencies. - Parents or guardians of a Creator under 18: Parents and guardians. - Engineers and AI teams building on the Graph: For developers and AI teams. - Journalists, researchers and privacy questions: Privacy, data and removal and About Sparkonomy. - Brands and marketers: For brands and marketers. - Family members of a Creator who has passed away: When a Creator has passed away. - Duos, groups or organisation accounts: Duos, personas and account types.
Why should I create or claim a record? What do I get from it?
You get one free place to say: this is me, these are my accounts, and this is what I allow AI to do. You can check your details, fix errors and choose which optional details to show. Your choices are published in a form people and AI systems can read. You also get a signed certificate of those choices. You do not need to build a website or learn technical skills.
Do I need to connect all my accounts? What happens if I connect only one?
Yes, you can start with one account. Sign in through a supported social platform to show that you control it. You can then use your record and set your AI choices. You can add more accounts later. Adding more accounts helps people and AI see your wider online presence. Checking one account does not check all the others. Some handles may already be listed from public sources. Please review them and their labels.
Why is there a page about me? I never made it.
We made a starting record from information already public about you. You did not need to sign up for it to exist. It gives people and AI a place to find your public identity. You can claim it, check the facts and set your AI choices for free. You can also ask us to correct or remove it. A starting record does not mean you agreed to AI use.
Who are you? Is this real or a scam?
We’re Sparkonomy, the company that runs OCG. We built it to help Creators state who they are and how AI may use their identity. It is free to read, claim and manage your record. We never ask for your social-platform password. If someone asks for money to claim your record, or asks you to share that password, please do not do so.
Is it free? Will you ask for money later?
Yes. It is free, and it stays free. You can claim, update or remove your record and set your AI choices at no cost.
I only have 2,000 followers. Am I allowed?
Yes. There is no minimum follower count. OCG is for Creators of every size.
Do I have to use other Sparkonomy products?
No. You can use OCG on its own. You do not need to buy or use another Sparkonomy product.
Do brands actually look at this?
Brands can read your record for free. Search and AI tools can read it too. It gives them another place to find your details and accounts. We cannot promise that a specific brand will view it.
Will this get me deals or money?
It can help people find and understand who you are. That is a useful first step towards work. We cannot promise deals or income. A brand still chooses whom to contact and hire.
What language is this in? Can I get it in Hindi?
OCG is in English for now. We plan to add more languages.
Do I need my own website or technical knowledge to use OCG?
No. OCG gives you a free public page outside your social accounts. It puts your accounts and AI choices in forms people and machines can read. You do not need to build a website or learn code to use it.
What is in my record? How can people and AI read it?
Your record has three useful forms: • A public page: people can read about you, your accounts and your AI choices. • Data for machines: search and AI tools can read the same information in open formats. • A certificate: you can download a digitally signed record of your six AI choices and linked accounts. Certificates enter a public log designed to reveal changes. Groups of log entries get an independent timestamp through an EU eIDAS-compliant service. This helps show what you said and when. It does not prove every fact on the page or replace copyright. For developers: JSON-LD describes identity and accounts. XML carries the consent file. Registry JSON helps check IDs and declarations. TDMRep signals text-and-data-mining choices.
